    I am not a fan of tethers, but my daughter loved the tether! The tether ended up being helpful in the Oreo cookie aisle. The inside of the backpack was the perfect size for my daughter and held her snacks cool.

    Lovely lunchbox backpack

    This is perfect size for a one year old toddler. It is large enough for packing a lunch during an outing. I have not made use of the leash, but I appreciate being able to unclip it and easily store in the front pocket. I like the chest strap which keeps the backpack from falling off shoulders while toddler moves around a lot. The patterns are cute, too.

    At first it seemed a bit small but this adorable backpack is actually the perfect size for my toddler. I am not a big fan of leashed items for children but I have grown to appreciate them especially in crowds or at the store. It allows freedom while keeping them close. I live that it is easily detachable so they can just use the backpack to store their favorite items. The velcro chest strap keeps the pack in place without being too difficult and doubles as a harness when using the leash feature. I am impressed with the quality of the fabric, it feels durable and able to withstand the roughness of a child. My favorite aspect though, are the adorable prints that it is offered in.

    The detachable hip seat makes my little ones feel as if they are floating a little as I shift them to my back. They are able to sit up higher and see over my shoulder as well. The wedge comes out easily, though, for those smaller kiddos. Since my youngest is right on the cusp of weight classes, I have taken to leaving the wedge in place so that the older kiddos can share.

    While I generally prefer to back carry my kiddos as soon as they are able, the Pulse offers 9! options for little ones weighing 12 to 45 pounds. The waistband is thicker, providing support in any carry position. It fastens using hook and loop with an added buckle closure for safety. The front panel unzips down to let the breathable mesh panel keep you cool in warm temps.
